This SIDITE evacuated tube solar collector consists of a highly insulated water manifold and a row of heat pipe evacuated tubes to transfer direct and diffuse solar radiation into heat. It uses twin glass evacuated tubes as the solar absorbers and a copper heat pipe inside each inner tube to transfer absorbed heat up to the manifold for heat exchange, with metal fins positioned inside the evacuated tube to hold the heat pipe.

The evacuated tube is engineered around a super efficient conducting "heat-pipe". Solar energy strikes the absorber and heat  the special fluid within the heat pipe, starting a vaporization-condensation cycle that transfers heat to the cylindrical heat-exchanging header at the top of the tube where the carrier fluid in the main pipe is heated up, while the glass tube stays cool. The vacuum inside each tube provides perfect insulation and therefore, protects the system from outside influences, such as cold and windy weather or high humidity. This vacuum insulation also ensures minimal heat energy loss.

The heat pipe evacuated solar tubes are acknowledged as the most efficient, reliable and cost-effective method of heating water whatever in wide range of weather conditions. Flexible open or closed loop system configurations allows the collectors to be sized for any solar heating applications, including residential, commercial, municipal, agricultural and industrial systems.

Product Feactures

  • Reliable, efficient, twin-glass evacuated tubes
  • IC-CN patent technology allows wide operation temperature range of -30°C - 300°C
  • Cu+H2O provides most stable anti-freezing performance
  • Red copper(TU1) heat pipes for rapid heat transfer
  • Novel technology of inner tube processing  for reduction of non-condensable gas inside the heat pipe
  • Attractive design, standard frame suitable for pitched roof or flat roof
  • Easy plug-in installation, an average time estimate of 1.5 hour to assemble each collector.
