Tempering work is important for the pellet production and it is indispensable from the conditioner. As a key part in conditioner, performance of tempering shaft can directly decide the tempering work. Revolving speed of tempering shaft is influenced by many factors and we can not directly deduce it with formula. In general, the revolving speed is in the scope of 100-300r/min. If being equipped with the frequency converter, revolving speed of tempering shaft will be changeable.

Different raw materials need different tempering periods. Based on this, we need to change the rotating belt and make the curing work stay OK. Wood pellet mill, used to make the aquatic feeds, should be equipped with 2 or 3 tempering drums. The aim is for prolonging the tempering periods, making raw materials be fully cured.

Spiral feeder, being installed on the head of wood pellet machine, can adjust the conveying amount of material according to the output. There are two ways to control the working speed of conveyor. One is using the electromagnetic speed machine and the other is using the frequency converter. With low cost and less technical difficulty, the former is more competitive than the latter.
