Strahan Associates have been practicing sustainable tecnologies since 1973 when the practice originally opened in New Mexico. We also believe our clients are the most important members of the design team; deserving buildings and spaces that are safe, function as they were intended, and are pleasing to the senses. Strahan Associates is comprised of professionals who all work toward the common goals of design excellence and attention to detail. The firm has a staff of five in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Our designers balance internal forces (program, budget, client goals, etc.) with external forces (site, regulations, public goals, etc.). When we design, we design from the inside out. We see people moving, working, and living within the building. We also design from the outside in. We see the building integrated with its surroundings.
