Hola Solar is a Costa Rica solar energy company with representatives in Escazu, Jaco and Quepos and over 20 years’ experience installing solar panels, inverters and pool pumps in Australia, USA and the UK. Our installation team combines the best of locally trained and internationally experienced personnel. Our engineers have a deep understanding on how solar energy works and can identify quickly the pros and cons for each unique situation.
Please contact us to discuss whether a solar installation is right for you. We would be pleased to arrange a free site survey at a mutually agreed time. The site survey and installation process is as follows.
Site Survey
At a time arranged to suit you, a Hola Solar engineer will come to your property and conduct a site survey. They will assess key factors for the proposed installation including historical energy consumption at your property, the roof structure, roof type, shading and orientation. The engineer will give honest advice on the different types of products highlighting advantages and disadvantages.
Since starting up in August 2012 we have come to understand the electricity supply and cost challenges that exist in Costa Rica. We have now identified an enhanced system incorporating a sophisticated inverter invented and manufactured in Costa Rica that:
• Allows customers to utilize solar power generated and call on back up battery power, when the grid is not supplying electricity (not possible with traditional inverters).
• Cleans up electricity supplied from the grid which results in more cost effective use of electricity as well as prolonging appliance life.
• Of particular importance to commercial customers on demand tariffs, it allows them to manage their electrical consumption to reduce or avoid incurring demand charges, which can be higher than the charge for kwh consumed.
Commercial Solar Power
Withrising energy prices, companies and businesses are starting to realize how muchpower is being consumed and wasted in a careless working environment. Let RenewableEnergy offer your business a clean, profitable and ethical energy source. HolaSolar will ensure you reduce your carbon footprint whilst also reducing yourelectricity and energy bills.
The Pilot Plan for Distributed Generation for Own Use (Plan) willenable you to provide your business with a hedge against rising electricitycosts for the 15 year Plan period and beyond.
1. Commercial Solar Systems can be sized from 4kW to 100kW.
2. Reduces electricity usage from the national grid, by having its own powergeneration from the solar installation.
3. The solar panels are low maintenance and come with a long life productguarantee.
4. Solar Energy will allow your business to generate its own energy resultingin lower costs.
5. Offset carbon emissions.
6. Not only is Solar Energy an investment, but it can increase the value ofyour property.
7. Are you making the most of your office roof space?
Solar Power for Schools
Children today are learning about our dependence on fossil-fuelled powergeneration and how this has created serious issues of climate change. Ouryounger generation is eager to learn how to reduce their carbon footprint -Solar Sustainable Energy is a step in the right direction.
Solar Power is changing the way we use and save our energy. It is anenvironmentally-conscious and positive influence on children as well as thestaff. Let Solar Power provide your school with a ‘feel good’ factor forreducing your carbon footprint and saving money.
Climate Change
Although the scientific debate continues over the relative contribution of industrially generated carbon dioxide and natural causes to climate change, there is general agreement that the man-made release of carbon dioxide is contributing to global warming, which if left unchecked could have disastrous consequences on the world's environment and climate. Many governments have adopted programs of varying ambition to reduce fossil fuel generated carbon dioxide emissions; Costa Rica, by promoting renewable energy, has set the goal of being carbon neutral by 2021.
An increase in the amount of power generated by PV solar panels and other products reduces the requirement for power generated by less environmentally benign sources while still contributing to Costa Rica's economic growth.
