Management Company EIG ENGINEERING is currently implementing the project of construction Biomass Power Plant with the capacity of 18 MW in Ivankiv, Kiev region.
The project main purpose project is the construction of the Biomass Power Plant with the capacity of 18 MW, process equipment, raw materials (waste wood) supply, electricity production and its sale on "green" tariff.
The project will be implemented in two stages: the first stage of 6 MW, the second one is 12 MW.
The first stage is currently being constructed. The first stage of 6 MW commissioning is scheduled for May 2013. Meanwhile, the preparation and implementation works of the second stage of the project of 12 MW are being held.
The second stage of 12 MW launch is scheduled for 2013. Produced electricity will be sold on the "green" tariff on Wholesale Market, heat will be used for own needs.
As of today, the project is fully provided with raw materials, reserves of raw materials and cost of forestry waste purchase are estimated, the analysis of possibility to use other kinds of biomass: straw crops, trees and so on is being held.
The logging equipment will be acquired for purchasing, storage and preparation of splint. The equipment will include: system for crumbling biomass, burstiness, rooter and timber truck.
The project of a socio-economic importance will create new working places,reduce the transporting cost ofelectricity in this region. In the design the detailed plan of the Ivankiv village territory (DPT) was developed and approved
The project corresponds to energy saving regulations, obtains the positive conclusion of the State Inspection of energy saving, about compliance of the Object with regulations and questions of energy saving №1/V/15-1/139.
